Music on the Theme of Love

Brian created this lovely original piece based on the word:  LOVE.  He assigned musical notes to each letter:

         L  =  E

            O  =  D

            V =  A

            E  =  B

It begins with bass Singing Bells ringing an ethereal A9(sus4) chord while handchimes ring the musical theme:   E – D – A – B  (LOVE). That sets the tone and he develops it quite nicely as melody shifts to the bells with lower chimes in the accompaniment. It a sweet, peaceful work with interesting developments featuring LV, gentle mallets, a few vib., nicely placed dynamics, and occasional Shakes for a bit of drama. It is such a lovely work and will fit beautifully in any worship or concert setting – without changing the title!
