Hytch, Kenneth
Kenneth Ian Hÿtch –is an internationally recognised musician who has enjoyed a career spanning over 40 years. An educationalist, adjudicator, lecturer, teacher, composer and conductor, he has worked in UK, Europe and USA, and particularly enjoys the variety and diversity of both composition and adjudication work.
“I feel that by supporting and encouraging young people to carry on with their music making, I am doing my bit to keep music live – in concert halls, schools, churches and in the curriculum.”
Ian has worked as a conductor and composer in the UK and abroad with many well known professionals, and has been commissioned by musical organisations to write large and small scale works for diverse genres from classical symphony orchestras to a 5 octave handbell choir!
His dynamic and engaging presentation style and eclectic musical knowledge can be tailored to a wide range of audiences and subjects to suit the purpose. Ian lives in Norfolk and when not involved in musical pursuits, enjoys walking, cricket, rugby, (a life long Leicester Tigers fan!) and reading historical biography. http://www.hytchmusic.com/
