Luttrell, Sueda
Sueda Luttrell is a native of Lufkin, Texas, and received the Bachelor and Master of Music degrees in Organ Performance from Baylor University. She has served as organist of Lutheran, Baptist and Episcopal churches in Texas and Georgia. Sueda currently serves as Organist/Music Associate of Gambrell Street Baptist Church in Fort Worth.
She held the position of Georgia State Chair for AGEHR (American Guild of English Handbell Ringers) Area 4 from 2000-2002 and regularly serves as a handbell clinician and performer. She is a published author on handbell related topics, and her solo compositions are published with STEP (Solo to Ensemble Project), Lifeway Press, Red River Music, and From the Top. Sueda has performed throughout the United States, including presenting the featured solo ringing concert at the 50th Anniversary of AGEHR in Norfolk, Virginia in 2004. Active in handbell organizations, she has served as Secretary of Handbell Musicians of America (formerly AGEHR) Area 9, Secretary of Greater Dallas Handbell Association, and is the Handbell Consultant and a member of the Advisory Board for Church Music Institute. Sueda’s ringing experience also includes past memberships in Golden Bells of Atlanta, Atlanta Bronze Ensemble, Concert Bells of Fort Worth, and East Texas Handbell Ensemble.
