Rios-Escribano, Enrique
Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, E. Bayoán Ríos-Escribano is a young composer who started his music experience playing with the Latin Grammy Nominee folkloric group, Tepeu. Later, he became part of the world-wide recognized San Juan Children’s Choir, with whom he travel and sung in many festivals. In 2007 Bayoán finished a B.M. in Music Education, Composition and Classical Guitar from the Music Conservatory of Puerto Rico, and in 2010 finished a M.M. in Music Composition for Films and Audiovisuals from the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya, in Barcelona, Spain. The Symphonic Orchestra of Puerto Rico, The Bronx Arts Ensemble, Martinů Ensemble, The Vivace Handbell Choir and ‘Los Escombros’ Handbell Ensemble are some of the music groups that have played the compositions, arrangements and orchestrations of Bayoán.
