Boswell, Ambeisa
Ambeisa Boswell, has been studying piano since the age of three and began composing music at the age 7 with my piano teacher Akiko Kinney. Playing the piano is one of her greatest passions and her first CD is now available on iTunes and CD Baby, featuring music from different parts of the world; thus its name: “A Shift in Spices.”
While a freshman in high school, Ambeisa joined the Raven Ringers, a handbell choir led by Mr. Ron Mallory. I have been a part of this group ever since and was inspired to write “Pink Horizon,” a piece that I was fortunate to conduct during our spring concert in my Junior year as well as in a summer handbell festival in Oregon. She looks forward to learning and doing more composing as she pursues her college education.
