Caleb has combined hymn tunes Easter Hymn and Madrid in a creative, uplifting, and rhythmic arrangement perfect for Easter celebration. It begins with an exciting introduction in C-major that leads into a stately rhythmic section featuring the Easter Hymn. Suspended bells hinting of tower bell chimes is joined with a more introspective and expressive handchime passage featuring the Madrid hymn. An elegant segue carries the arrangement forward to the rhythmic Easter Hymn and on to the exciting and dynamic coda which reestablishes the beginning of this piece. Tower swing, mallet, suspended bells, RT and TD are perfectly placed, and expressive and nuanced dynamics make this arrangement sing.
