Tavaszi szél vizet áraszt
Composer: Hungarian folk tune

This lovely Hungarian song literally translates to: “The spring wind makes the waters rise” and references the melting of the winter snow and coming spring. This sweet melody has been beautifully arranged for handbells and includes some very nice rhythmic variations and counter-melodies. Lovely key changes, addition of singing bell, LV and gently malleted sections make this an enchanting piece. The alternate title of God Is With Us may be used in worship. Please read the “Notes” on page 5 of the score, which gives a bit more history of this folk tune. To view this score, please select the 'down arrow' at the bottom of this cover page.
