Free Fall

Winner of the 2019 Area 3 Composition Contest, "Free Fall" is an energetic original composition for either 2-3 or 3-6 octaves of handbells. Each version is unique and stand-alone and makes for a pleasing and self-contained song in its own right, but when combined with the other part (such as in a massed festival setting), the whole becomes more than the sum of its parts. The piece also carries the subtitle "Rejoice and Be Glad" for use in sacred settings.
