This hit song, written in 1997 by Jimmy Buffett, has enjoyed ongoing success and is included in the Grammy Hall of Fame. It was selected for "preservation in the U.S. National Recording Registry by the Library of Congress as being 'culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant.'" Rick has created a delightful arrangement for handbells that is true to the original. It is rhythmic, syncopated, and thoroughly delightful. The bass line is mostly malleted with the melody rung in both bells and chimes – the inclusion of shakes and vibrato adds to the fun. This will be the perfect addition to any concert or massed ringing event.
