Bundle of Joy

This lovely music is from the score of the Disney/Pixar film, “Inside Out” – based on a young girl as her life moves from infancy to pre-teen. The changes and emotions she experiences are represented by colors and the first emotion she experiences as an infant is Joy (yellow) – expressed by this title. Daniel has created a gentle and stunningly beautiful adaptation of the score for bells and chimes. Use of many LV passages, singing bell, suspended mallets, and expressive phrases work together beautifully. There is an underlying pulse and accents that move the music forward towards the end, but understatement should still be the key. What a lovely, ethereal work that is sure to be enjoyed by ringers and audience alike.
