This delightful and creative arrangement of this Christmas favorite features a musical motif unique for each of the 12 days. Techniques are representative of each 'day' such as suspended mallets for calling birds; mart-lifts for lords a-leaping; waltz time (3/4) for ladies dancing and more. There are even a few snippits of unexpected tunes such as “La Marseillaise” and “The Swan” plus a ‘bit of Scotland” for good measure. Techniques abound making this a delight to ring as well as listen to! Many creative non-musical additions could be included in the performance to make this even more fun and engaging for the audience! This is definitely a ‘must-have’ for your group’s holiday repertoire.
