This delightful, original work features an engaging melody combined with an infectious, toe-tapping island rhythm. It is mostly rung throughout with nicely-placed mallet and thumb damp techniques and observing dynamics as written will emphasize the Caribbean style. It is lively and engaging and ringers should be careful to damp cleanly which will make the rhythm dance even more. Addition of optional claves, maracas, and congas will add to the fun and enjoyment for both the audience and ringers. Additional rhythmic instruments may be included as the director chooses. This is sure to be a favorite addition to your group’s ‘go-to’ concert repertoire!
