Three Christmas Trios: Three Traditional Carols ~ Angel Carols ~ Joy to the World

Linda has shared her amazing gift for arranging by interweaving seven familiar Christmas tunes into three familiar and engaging stand-alone titles for handbell trio.

“Three Traditional Carols” combines Sing We Now of Christmas, Fum, Fum, Fum, and Masters In This Hall into a delightful setting which includes melody shared throughout treble and bass, a bit of bass malleting, excellent segues to key and meter changes.

“Angel Carols” include Angels From the Realms of Glory, Angels We Have Heard On High, and Hark the Herald Angels Sing. Key and meter changes, addition of a few well-placed Shakes, and sharing the melody throughout the parts will keep listeners engaged.

“Joy To the World” includes melody Rung with malleted accompaniment, Shakes, and luscious LV passages in the style of peals which includes off-set rhythm and exciting dynamic changes.

These are wonderful trio arrangements – which could easily be adapted to include more than three ringers.
